The Upskill Academy Community exists to learn, collaborate, grow, and build real-world digital skills together. Every member plays a role in creating a safe, supportive, and empowering learning environment.
1. Respect & Professional Conduct
- Treat all members with respect, dignity, and kindness.
- No harassment, hate speech, discrimination, or personal attacks.
- Differences in opinions, cultures, and experience levels must be respected.
- Communicate professionally at all times.
2. Learning-Centered Engagement
- Keep discussions relevant to learning, skills development, and growth.
- Ask thoughtful questions and share helpful insights.
- Encourage beginners and support fellow students on their learning journey.
- Constructive feedback is welcome; destructive criticism is not.
3. No Spam or Self-Promotion
- No unsolicited promotions, affiliate links, or advertisements.
- Do not promote external courses, services, or businesses without admin approval.
- Job opportunities and collaborations must be posted in designated groups or threads only.
4. Academic Integrity
- Do not share paid course content, recordings, or materials outside the platform.
- Plagiarism, cheating, or misrepresentation of work is strictly prohibited.
- Always credit sources when sharing external resources.
5. Safe & Ethical Use of Technology
- No sharing of illegal, pirated, or unethical content.
- No hacking, exploitation, or misuse of digital tools discussed in the community.
- Cybersecurity and AI topics must follow ethical best practices.
6. Privacy & Confidentiality
- Respect the privacy of fellow members.
- Do not share screenshots, messages, or personal information outside the community without consent.
- What is shared in the community stays in the community.
7. Group-Specific Rules
- Follow additional rules set within specific groups (e.g. course groups, mentorship groups).
- Stay on-topic within each group to keep discussions valuable.
8. Admin & Moderator Authority
- Admins and moderators exist to protect the community.
- They may remove posts, issue warnings, mute, suspend, or remove members who violate rules.
- Repeated or severe violations may lead to permanent removal without refund.
9. Reporting Issues
- Report inappropriate content or behavior to admins or moderators immediately.
- Do not engage in public conflicts—let moderators handle it.
